Hello! I'm Neil Kalman. Welcome to my site.

I'm a Software Engineer, working as a Frontend\Fullstack developer in the passed 3 years.
I'm also a performer, playing the Saxophones and acting in several commercials and skits.

I also love to research build systems (like gulp), company development culture (like slack, & dashboards), collaboration, integrations, and readable maintainable code.

I also fiddle a little with DIY projects and illustrations.

Programming an email web client for Redkix
Worked on data handling and UI manipulation typically required by email clients. Including real-time, inline embedding of assets, manipulating images (crop, resize, etc.), text manipulation and integrating with a WYSIWYG (markdown, emojis, URLs, mentions), and more.
Creating the native fork of Redkix for OS X & Windows, including certifications and installers
Developing complex UI components and animations

Reo is a pop-disco-electronic duo, performed and produced by the musicians Zoe Polanski and Or Edri. The songs were written, produced and fully performed by Polanski and Edri, exclusively on analogue equipment from the 80's and 90's that were collected carefully to create the warm and unique sound of the debut album.

Behind the ensemble are many performances at leading Tel-Aviv clubs and festivals all over.

Or Edri is one of the busiest and most versatile bass players in Tel-Aviv. In her solo project, she stays close to the genre of Rio, but while the duo stroked with technicolor sensuality, Edri alone is a deeper submarine. It's still sexy, still groovy, still going through the body like goosebumps, still gives you a desire to get up and dance, & still psychedelic and decorated with her stimulating bass lines.

Pancho is part of the independent scene of Tel-Aviv. Pancho creates unique instrumental music with tremendous merit and quirkiness. Drummer ( Niv Majar ), Guitarist ( Dror Pikielny ) and Saxophonist ( Neil Kalman ) give shape to this original and unclassifiable sound.

Like in a magical dream, virtuoso guitarist's Omer Schneider sensitively weaves within his music an abundance of different musical genres.

After a number of tours in Europe with the glam rock band CHASE THE ACE, Omer decided to go on a new way and make his own art. With the trio Tamir Borsuk (Drums), Tal Shturm (Bass), and Neil Kalman (Saxophones), they create magical picturesque melodies, wrapped in a heavy rock spirit.
